Biografía

PRESENTATION / BIO

Born in Barakaldo (Bizkaia). He holds a Diploma in Teaching in Foreign Language, a Postgraduate Degree in Dramatization (UPV), and is a Specialist Technician in Expression and Creativity.

He has completed various courses in Stage Direction and Theatre Pedagogy.

He is a member of the board of the European network IYMA – International Young Makers in Action. He directs the international short-piece festival ACT.

CV / PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

He works on the management team and is an acting teacher at the BAI Performing Arts Training Centre. He has taught acting courses in various theatre centres both in Spain and abroad (Bilbao, Amsterdam, Seville, Perth/Australia…).

Since 1993, he has written several theatrical texts such as Acuática, La Prueba, Cabaret Magritte, Objetivo Macbeth and Hermanas, the last two published by Artezblai. He wrote and directed the show Was Monna Lisa a lamp?, winner of the First Prize at the Eskena Up Festival in Kosovo. He has directed nearly twenty productions for Teatrako Teatro, BAI and Agerre Teatro.

His latest artistic project as a theatre director is Moon Produkzioak, with which he has staged La voz humana (by J. Cocteau), Esto no es un cabaret, and Hermanas, of which he is also the author.
