What is Dantzerti?

Dantzerti is the Higher School of Dramatic Arts and Dance of the Education Department of the Basque Government at the service of the community. Our main objective is to offer students a quality higher education. We offer the citizens of the Basque Country our work and experience, connecting art and education.

Dantzerti began its activity in 2015 at the Juan Crisóstomo de Arriaga Conservatory in Bilbao, in Sarriko, Plaza Ibarrekolanda, adapting its facilities and services to educational needs.

We offer a training service for Degrees in Dramatic Arts and Dance. Our daily work is to train people and future professionals, which is why we give importance to people's abilities, trying to provide an adequate response to today's society, immersed in methodological innovation and working with new technologies.

Student-oriented, Dantzerti is an organization willing to collect and take into account their point of view, suggestions or ideas. We believe in the contribution of our professionals and together we want to give Dantzerti its identity.

This website aims primarily to respond to the information needs of students as well as our partners with whom we develop our activity. We want our stakeholders to have an easily accessible and effective resource. But we would like to go further, providing everyone with a tool that allows more direct and open relationships. Our effort, and bilateral relationships will be the focus of our action. In any case, in addition to the website, Dantzerti opens its doors if you prefer a direct relationship with us, but don't forget that thanks to technology, you can reach us from wherever you are.

Why Dantzerti

Because you will obtain a degree

When you finish your studies, you will obtain the Bachelor's Degree in Higher Artistic Education in Dramatic Arts or Dance, which is included in level 2 of the Spanish Qualifications Framework for Higher Education, MECES.

For our market orientation

Dantzerti is equipped with a Study Plan in accordance with the quality and accreditation criteria in force in the European Higher Education Area. This will allow you either to access the labor market or to continue your studies with postgraduate degrees in various university masters.

Because there is no other center like this

One of the things that makes our project unique is its character as an integrated center. An ambitious challenge that, although complex in articulation, presents itself as a true "artistic factory". The implementation in the same environment of the Dramatic Arts and Dance Education together with the Professional Music Education will foster synergies that will result in interesting qualitative contributions.

For our dedication to in-house production

Taking advantage of the integrated nature of the center, where Music, Dance and Theater studies will coexist, we intend to develop an in-house production program in which students collaborate with students from other specialties. In this way, while you are being trained, you can gain experience and experiment with your own ideas or those developed as a team with your colleagues.
