Biografía
German Jauregui Allue is a dancer, choreographer, and teacher based in Brussels. In 1998, he joined the company Ultima Vez/Wim Vandekeybus, where he worked as a dancer for over ten years. Since 2015, he has worked as a movement assistant and rehearsal director for various productions. Since 2021, he has collaborated with the company Oester, directed by Aida Gabriels, where he works as a choreographer, playwright, and dancer. He has also collaborated with Loïc Touzé, Idoia Zabaleta/Moaré Danza, Side-Show, Seppe Baeyens, among others, and participated in the international project Sites of Imagination (2007) and the documentary Los caminos de la memoria (2009), directed by José Luis Peñafuente. In 2007, he began developing his own work with the creation of the pieces Isaac (2007), Sunset on Mars (2009), and Confession (2013). Together with choreographer Antia Díaz, he created Isaac and Diola (2016) and Rassemblement (2019). In 2023, he directed Béla Bartók's opera "Blubeard's Castle." In 2024, he collaborated with Aida Gabriels on the production of the opera "Amandante."As a guest choreographer, he creates pieces for companies in Spain, Belgium, Mexico, and Canada.
