Biografía
Ozkar Galán (Gernika, 1978) Holder of a Degree in Dramaturgy from the RESAD, he premièred his first dramatic work at the age of 17, and continues to this day to produce new works, both with professional (Kulunka Teatro, Os Goliardos, Rajatabla...) and non-professional companies (Marca Blanca Teatro, Compañía Quequién...) and institutions (Creative Music Foundation of Madrid, Professional Association of Land Registrars). He has won a number of awards both for his drama (1st Villa de Pinto Theatre Text Award, 2006. Runner-up in the SGAE Theatre Awards, 2010. Winner of the 4th Valle de Hecho National Theatre Text Competition, 2013) and for his short stories (Finalist in the 7th "Being Peter Pan" Literary Competition, Winner of the 1st "Ink, Blood and Wine" Award, both in 2012), and also as an actor (Second Villa de Frómista Pocket Theatre Award, 2000. Second, third, and again second place in the +Teatro con Diamante competitions in 2013, 2014 and 2015). He has written texts in Basque and has been translated into English, Greek and LAPAO. His works have been performed in cities including Paris and Athens.
