Alaitz Cabriada Izaguirre

Biografía

Degree in Dramatic Art from the RESAD (1998). She supplemented her studies at the CTE (Performance Technology Centre), which forms part of the INAEM (National Institute of Performing Arts and Music) in Madrid, specialising as a Theatre Costume Technician (2000).

After a Master's in Performing Arts at the URJC, in Fuenlabrada, Madrid, she continued her studies in London with a postgraduate at the LISPA (London International School of Performing Arts), specialising in physical theatre and the movement technique of Jacques Lecoq.

She worked at the Westminster Society for two years on the personalised assistance and plastic arts team for adolescents and children with autism and intellectual diversity in London.

Co-founder of the Las Grotesqués theatre company and founder of Systole Teatro, acting, directing and creating various dramatic works since 1999, and collaborating with other international physical theatre companies at the national and international level (Spain, Ireland, Canada and England).

As an actress she has worked for various companies, such as Yllana and Sex-peare. Her most recent works as a performer are based on creations of bodily expression, performance and the plastic arts, such as painting and performative installations.
